CN734 - Floor Strengthening, Newport
A complex task greeted the BD team at Newport. The client’s requirement to strengthen an office floor for production improvement works in an existing live environment involved the highest level of coordination and team work with both the client and main contractor. Phase 1 consists of 27 trussess, each weighing approx 1.3te being fed into an existing ceiling void and the stiffening of the existing columns.
CN733 - Shotfield Health Centre
We are pleased to have been awarded the package for steelwork, metal decking and PCC Stair supply and install for the new 3 storey Shotfield Health Centre.

CN731 - St. Bede’s College
A new sports hall at St. Bede’s College, Ormskirk has now been completed. It included curved cellform beam rafters.

CN728 - St.Mary’s College
A wintery scene greeted the BD team when constructing a new Enterprise Centre at St. Mary’s College, Blackburn.

CN719 - Ormskirk
Construction of a new 2 storey ‘design & build’ steelwork retail and accomodation block in Ormskirk includes the metal decking, PCC Stair and edge protection packages.

CN679 - Bradford City Park
We have supplied and installed the structural steelwork and Glulam timber columns for a new City Park development in Bradford

CN678 - GE Healthcare
Our scope includes the survey of existing, supply, fabrication and erection of the structural steelwork and cold rolled members for the support of a ‘walk-on’ ceiling over laboratories

CN674 - Morecambe FC, New Westgate Stadium
Our scope includes the supply, fabrication and erection of the structural steelwork for the Main, Home and Away Stands and corner infill. The supply and install of the PCC Stairs and the installation of the PCC Terrace Units and vomitory walls.

CN651/661 - Wrexham Maelor Hospital - OAU and AMHU
We have been awarded the construction of a new 2 storey OAU wing and our scope includes the supply and install of steelwork, PCC Stairs, Metal stairways and edge protection.
Following the construction of the OAU, we were awarded the next Phase of work for the AMHU. The structure is part single and part two storey and contains over 170 trusses and lattice girders. In addition to the steelwork our scope includes the supply and install of the PCC stairs.

CN641 - Shopping Centre, Bingley
We are currently constructing a new structure to form the basis of a new shopping precinct in Bingley. In addition to the main frame the project involves some strengthening/bracing to an existing RC frame and the introduction of steelwork to strengthen and adapt the existing structure.

CN628 - Aldi Store
We have recently completed the design and construction of a Aldi Store and retail units.

CN623 - RNLI, Morecambe
We have recently completed work on a new Structure for the RNLI at Morecambe. This is something a little different with its double curved tubular roof structure and built adjacent the promenade on the sea front at Morecambe.

CN610 - Warehouse, Manchester
We have recently completed the design and construction of steelwork, metal decking and PCC Stairs to form a 10,000 m2, twin span portal frame structure with 2 two storey internal office accommodation. The project was completed in 5 weeks, 1 week ahead of schedule.

CN605 - St. Helens
We are providing a diverse cross section of industrial and process structures for a major manufacturer in St. Helens. The scope of work includes Portal Frames, canopies over plant areas, storage bays, pipe bridges, ladders, stairways, metal deck and open mesh flooring.

CN592 - Cheetham Hill Shopping Centre
Delivered within a 5 week lead-in period, this project is part of a regeneration project in the heart of Cheetham Hill, which has seen ‘the poorly designed district centre which previously occupied the site demolished and 26 new retail units created in a multi-million pound redevelopment’
We are members of the SCI and the British Constructional Steelwork Assocation (BCSA) and are a Registered Qualified Steelwork Contractor under the BCSA scheme.
